Why it exists

Store hours, phone numbers and photos were wrong in several places at once, and fixing them meant asking a developer and waiting. Wrong hours on the website is the single most expensive small error we have — it sends a customer to a closed door.

What it does

A what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor for every store. You edit the Location Card and the Store Page exactly as they appear on the live site — no fields you don't recognise, no code. Hours come in automatically from Google Business Profile every day, and anything you set by hand is pinned so the automatic sync can't overwrite it.

How to use it — live steps

  1. Go to maps.sessions.ca and sign in.
  2. Find the store you want — search by name or city.
  3. Choose the tab you need: Hours, or Photos & Brand.
  4. Make your edit. The card previews exactly how it will look on sessions.ca.
  5. Save. Your change is pinned, so the nightly Google sync won't undo it.
  6. Open that store on sessions.ca to confirm it landed.

Worth knowing

  • Two different kinds of hours exist and they are not the same thing: Store hours (when the doors are open, from Google) and Ordering hours (when online orders are accepted, from the POS). Changing one does not change the other.
  • Anything you type by hand wins over the automatic sync, permanently, until you change it back.
